ANIMALIA
I think, if you are a student of natural science background you have known it well right. if not, Dont worry i am here to let you know about the animals and their structures....Let me explain you first about what is animalia.
Well, Animalia is a set of all animals which consists of eukaryotic, multicellular organisms these animals can't produce food by their own therefore they depend on others for survival. In general they divided into two types. One is vertebrates and the another one is invertebrates. Vertebrates are the one that consists of backbone where as you can't find the backbone in the invertebrates. There are 11 phylums in the animalia world and from those, vertebrates belongs to the phylum chordate and remaining are almost come under invertebrates.
classification of phylum:
- phylum protozoa.
- phylum porifera.
- phylum coelenterata.
- phylum ctenophora
- phylum platyhelminthes.
- phylum nemathelminthes.
- phylum annelida.
- phylum anthropoda.
- phylum mollusca.
- phylum echinodermata.
- phylum chordate.
Vertebrates belongs to the phylum chordate and this phylum is sub- divided into 7 classes those are:
- Agnatha, Aves/birds, Amphibia, Chondrichthyes, Mammalia, Osteichthyes, Reptilia.
And the remaining phyla and the some classes in chordate are come under the invertebrates.
