 POISONOUS SNAKES FOUND IN ASIA

Generally, Asia is a largest continent of the world. Do you ever think that of what snakes are gonna be lived there...yes for that question, i will answer you... join with us.....

Well, there are many poisonous snakes in asia....some spiecies among them are identified and some spiecies are not identified.....so the identified poisonous snakes are:

The above snakes are the poisonous snakes which are found in asia and let's discuss about them....

1. INDIAN KRAIT

Basically, It belongs to the "Animalia" kingdom and the detailed classification is given below have a look:

KINGDOM - ANIMALIA

PHYLUM - CHORDATA

CLASS - REPTILIA

ORDER - SQUAMATA

SUB ORDER  - SERPENTES

FAMILY - ELAPIDAE

GENUS - BUNGARUS

SPECIES - B.CAERULEUS.

This snake is about 6ft in length and on an average it is 3ft long.. Generally male snakes are longer than the female snakes where their tails proportionately longer.  And the body is of cylindrical shape and with tampering towards the tails. Their eyes are small and rounded with pupil. The color of the snake in general either black or bluish black.. with white crossbars along the skin with small distances. the upper lips and the belly are white.

These snakes are distributed from West to East of india, through out south india and srilanka and also in Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh. They lived in grass, vegetation, fields, and they frequently encountered in water.


Its venom consists of powerful Neurotoxins  which include muscle paralysis. Its venom contains presynaptic and postsynaptic neurotoxins that generally acts on synaptic cleft where the transfer of information happens..

Kraits are nocturnal that is these snakes are active at night times so majorly incidents occurs at nights times and often at daytime.. krait bites are generally causes no pain or little pain which makes man take it as nothing happen  it slowly paralysis the body. if death occurs then mostly in 3-7 hours the person will die....cause of the death would be respiratory failure i.e suffocation. A toxicological study reveals that the mortality rate due to this snake bite is 70-80%. Few symptoms of this bite is , muscles become tight after 1-2 hours of bite, if you neglect this then respiratory paralysis happens.
 

INDIAN KRAIT is  dangerous venomous snake ....
